Indigo Bay Island Lodge and Spa is located on the western shore Bazaruto Island, in the Bazaruto Archipelago, Mozambique. The Bazaruto Archipelago comprises a group of small islands situated approximately 25km off the coast of Mozambique. Bazaruto is the largest (approximately 37km long and up to 7km wide) and northern-most of the five islands. Indigo Bay Island Lodge is situated +/- 750km north of Maputo, Mozambique.

29 Beach Chalets complete with en-suite bathroom (separate indoor shower and recessed sea-facing oval bath), an outdoor shower, king size extra length beds, dressing room area, verandah, open plan living area, mosquito screens, central air-conditioning with adjustable temperature setting in main room and bathroom, mini bar satellite TV, electronic safe, international plugs, hairdryer and a tea / coffee station.

GETTING THERE

Scheduled flights from Johannesburg direct to Vilanculo.

ARRIVAL AT VILANCULO

On arrival at Vilanculo, you will be met by a representative from Indigo Bay, who will assist you with clearing customs & immigration prior to boarding the air shuttle.

Immigration fees to be settled at Vilanculo Airport = US$ 3.00 pp (payable upon arrival and departure)

INDIGO BAY ISLAND TRANSFER

• Transfer time to Indigo Bay on Bazaruto from Vilanculo Airport is approximately 15 minutes.
• Maximum weight of luggage for island transfer is 20kg in soft bags.
• Marine National Park Levy of US$ 10.00 per person at Indigo Bay per entry – included in the Accommodation Rate.

CHILD POLICY AND CHILDREN’S FACILITIES

Children are welcome at Indigo Bay Island Resort and Spa.

Baby-sitting can be arranged by prior arrangement, at an additional fee (US$ 5.00 per hour). This service needs to be booked with guest services before 12h00 on the day required.

The “Indi Kidz” club is open from 08h00 – 17h00 daily and is free of charge.

Please note that Kids Room is only supervised during certain hours a day (hours posted on door at Kids Room), at other times children below 8 must be supervised by an adult.

To participate in organized Kidz activities children under 3 must be accompanied by an adult or a babysitter (babysitter USD 5.00

per hour). Children participating without adult or baby sitter must be out of nappies.
