Aliwal Shoal is a reef just south of Durban in South Africa's Kwa-Zulu Natal and is unarguably rated as one of the top ten dive sites in the world. Apart from Tiger Sharks, Aliwal Shoal has two wrecks that are home to giant Brindle Bass while the reef is packed with breeding Raggedtooth Sharks, Manta Rays, Turtles, whale Sharks, Dusky Sharks, Bronze Whaler Sharks and several species of fish that are completely endemic to the Shoal.
